The CU Medicine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinic at the UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver provides comprehensive care for every athlete -- from evaluation to diagnosis to treatment, rehabilitation and recovery. This state-of-the-art facility includes an advanced orthopedic clinic, physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic, imaging, Inverness Orthopedics and Spine Surgery Center, and Sports Performance from Elite Speed at one convenient location. We aim to provide a seamless experience from diagnosis to recovery with highly trained orthopedic specialists and physical therapists conveniently located all under one roof. Our team of experienced providers perform a variety of outpatient procedures in our advanced surgery center and we provide orthopedic services including evaluation, imaging (X-ray and MRI), physical therapy, casting and injections. Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation: Their programs blend a balance of manual therapy and exercises intended to build strength, endurance, flexibility and overall fitness. With the correct program, our patients are often able to return to their sport or their preferred activity without having surgery! Please call ahead of your appointment so that we can ensure our staff is prepared for your visit and can provide you with information for your first visit including where to park, how to check-in and how we’re protecting our patients during COVID-19.

Our clinic is able to serve you in-person or via virtual health services. Please call our clinics directly or visitMyHealthConnectionto schedule an appointment for both in person and virtual health.
Prepare for your visit
- When scheduling an appointment, please be prepared to provide the reason, or chief complaint, for your appointment.
- Please provide at least 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment for check-in.
- Patients arriving more than 10 minutes after their scheduled appointment time may be asked to reschedule their appointment.
- We ask all new and established patients to present their photo identification and insurance card at every office visit.
- Patients should anticipate paying required co-pays at check-in.
- CU Medicine clinics are tobacco-free environments. We do not allow smoking or the use of tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) in our clinics or buildings.
- CU Medicine prohibits the presence and use of knives, guns, or other weapons in our clinics or buildings. This prohibition includes patients, visitors, and staff members with concealed weapons permits.

Please contact your insurance carrierto verify if our physicians are participating in your health insurance plan. Due to the number of health insurance plans available, your insurance carrier will have a more up to date list of participating physicians than our office.
